Holmes: Long and Hard
One has to give J.B. Holmes a lot of credit. He may not ever develop into a perennial Ryder Cup caliber player; but given the proper course, the kid knows how to use his strengths to win. And the TPC at Scottsdale was made for Holmes. Let's look at his 2008 statistics thus far:
Driving accuracy? Not so much. But at the FBR, who cares? Simply stay out of the water, otherwise smash away. And that is exactly how he beat Phil on the sudden death play-off hole. He never be known as the next Ben Crenshaw; but he may be known as the King of the FBR for a long time.
