As a member of the victorious 2007 United States Walker Cup Team, Johnson was a force in amateur and collegiate golf. During the past year, he finished in the top 10 in 17 of 22 medal play events he entered, including back to back victories last summer at the prestigious Northeast Amateur and Monroe Invitational.Last fall he signed on with the TaylorMade-adidas golf staff.
Johnson hits the ball a ton. Look for him to do serious damage at events like the FBR Phoenix Open, where bombers can get away some errant shots (think J.B. Holmes in 2006.)
He will be playing a lot of tournaments this year and appears to be ready to take his game to the next level. He's an ideal Fantasy Golf pick-up for little money.
